- Head south on I-5 and follow the signs to the Mercer Street Exit
- Take exit 167 to Mercer Street (right-hand off-ramp)
- Take a right turn on to Fairview Avenue North ( 400 feet)
- Take a left turn on Valley Street (0.18 miles)
- Valley Street bends to the left and becomes Broad Street
(0.75 miles) - Turn right to Denny Way (0.32 miles)
- Bend right to Western Avenue ( 0.22 miles)
- Western joins Elliott Avenue West (1.18 miles)
- Follow signs to Magnolia Bridge

Parking Info
Parking at Terminal 91 is located a short shuttle ride away, please be sure to arrive no later than 90min prior to your sailing time. For your convenience, you can either park or you can drop off your luggage first at the terminal prior to parking your vehicle. Luggage is accepted beginning at 10:00am. Payment for parking is due upon completion of your cruise upon exiting the lot and can be paid via cash or major credit card. As an alternative it is highly recommended that advance reservations be made online by visiting Republic Parking at www.rpnw.com, such advance reservations are not required, however space is limited and this will ensure you a
parking space.

Holland America Line Shore Operations has an office at Smith Cove Cruise Terminal and manages the disembarkation and embarkation processes. They can also assist you should you become separated from your luggage.

WHERE TO STAY BEFORE OR AFTER YOUR CRUISE VACATION:
Holland America Line will gladly make all the arrangements for your
Pre-cruise or Post-cruise stay in Seattle. Please call 1-877-932-4259 to add a hotel stay. Guests who book their hotel stays through Holland America Line will enjoy extra special attention such as:
- An onsite Holland America Line representative will assist you in your stay; just visit them in the lobby.
- A welcome letter upon check-in letting you know about local life and how to make reservations for dinner, tours, and other Seattle must-see attractions.
- Leave transportation arrangements to us.
For Post-Cruise Guests we include transportation from the ship to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT CHECKING-IN:
Get to the Pier
Please arrive no earlier than 10:30AM.
The building will not be open before this time and the
driveway is very congested with disembarking guests.
Check Your Luggage
Attach a Holland America Line Bag Tag to all pieces of
checked luggage. Follow the signs to the baggage check-in
door which opens promptly at 10:30AM; show your baggage,
cruise ticket and photo-ID to the security personnel.
Your bags will be scanned and then loaded onboard and
delivered to your stateroom.
Check Your Documents

Guests who have completed the Online Check-In
requirements are only required to present the following:
- Proof of Citizenship
- Signature Preferred Boarding Pass
- Credit Enrollment Form along with the credit card you wish to use for onboard expenses.

Board Your Ship
In Seattle embarkation starts at about 11:30am. An
announcement will be made once the embarkation process is
ready to start.
Terminal Features and Services
Opening in 2009, this new cruise facility is capable of handling two cruise ships at the same time. The terminal is located in Smith Cove near the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle at the north end of Elliott Bay.
Pier 91 offers cruise guests a concierge service for
making car rental, limo, and baggage storage
arrangements. Also on hand is Gray
Line of Seattle recommend the best
way to the see the Emerald City with various touring
options offered.
There are no food outlets within walking distance from
the ship's terminal.

Visa Requirements
Voyages leaving Seattle typically go north to Alaska with
stops in Canada. Some Non-US Citizens require Canadian
"Temporary Resident Visas" in order to board. Please
check the Canadian Immigration Website to find out if you
need one prior to coming to Seattle. Those guests who
require a visa and do not obtain one will be denied
boarding.
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT LEAVING YOUR SHIP:

In Seattle, disembarkation typically starts at 8AM and ends at 10AM.
Government Clearance
All Guests are subject to Department of Homeland Security
Screening. Please keep your citizenship documents with
you at all times.
Holland America Line is pleased to offer Signature Express Baggage Service. Once onboard a letter explaining the eligibility requirements will be sent to you. Signature Express Baggage Service offers you the opportunity to receive your airline boarding passes, and check your luggage in to your flight while still onboard your Holland America Line ship. Our airline partners will take your luggage directly from the ship to the airport for loading onto your outbound aircraft. You will then claim your luggage when you arrive at your final destination. This option allows you to enjoy your final hours in Seattle at leisure. Imagine your options: 1) Enjoy one of our world-renowned coffee shops or 2) Stand in a never-ending line at the airport - the choice is yours with Signature Express Baggage Service.
Those Guests not participating in the Signature Express Baggage Service should expect the following:
Upon disembarking the ship, all luggage is laid down in the disembarkation hall by color/number order. Once you are invited to exit the ship please come and find your color/number group and claim your bags. There are porters available, but individual carts are not available. Please exit the building with all family members and luggage, once you leave you cannot re-enter.
The Porters are salaried employees and tipping is not required.
Your Transportation
Immediately outside the doors of the disembarkation hall you can find Holland America Line motorcoach transfers, taxis, and limos. If you have arranged a private pick up by friends, family or limo please have them wait in the cell phone waiting lot.
In Seattle guests usually choose to take Holland America Line arranged transportation because the terminal has so many entrances. There is also Taxi and Limo Service available to/from the ship's terminal.
Holland America Line offers transfers between the SeaTac Airport, Recommended Hotels and Ship's Terminal via motorcoach.
If you would like to book a transfer please call 1-877-SAIL HAL and tell them you would like to add a transfer.
Depending on your air arrival time and date special instructions have been included in your ticket book advising where to find your Holland America Line Guest Service Representative at the airport.
